Words we use
The console and this guide use the same labels. When two words sound alike, this page is the map.
- New · In progress · Done
- The three statuses on a request. The guest sees the same three steps.
- Open
- The Requests filter for work still waiting: New plus In progress. Home’s Open now count uses the same set.
- Requests (page)
- Where the desk works the queue. In this guide the nav label is Requests.
- Requests (role)
- The desk sign-in role: Home, Requests, Offers, and QR codes. This guide calls that audience Desk.
- Manager (role)
- Everything the desk has, plus Usage, Content, and Staff.
- Live · Draft · Archive
- Content versions. Guests only see Live. You edit a Draft, then Replace live. The previous Live becomes Archive.
- My Stay
- The guest screen for their room, requests, and hotel note after Done.
- Common ask
- A starter sentence on Make a request that also sets the department.
